From resilience to customer outreach to technology to health and safety, key stakeholders from across the industry will share their experiences from this most challenging year and how they expect the industry to move forward as we aim for resolution and recovery in 2021 and beyond.
VP, Security Solutions, Western Canada, Anixter
Anita is the VP of Security Solutions for Anixter in Western Canada. As a 30 year industry veteran, she is an experienced leader with a demonstrated history in the Security wholesale industry. For over 25 years she has been serving on both the BC chapter board as well as the National board in various roles for CANASA, and is currently the Vice President of the CANASA National board.
Editor, Canadian Security | SP&T News, Annex Business Media
Neil Sutton joined the SP&T News team in 2007, managing the publication’s digital presence as online editor. In 2011, he took over management of Annex Business Media’s security group portfolio as editor of Canadian Security, SP&T News and French-language publication Securite Quebec. Neil currently oversees the editorial direction for all three brands, managing print publications, websites, social media, award programs, video content, podcasts, events and now virtual events. A business media journalist for more than 20 years, Neil was previously the editor of ITBusiness.ca and holds an MA in journalism from Western University.

Jeremy McLerran built the Qolsys marketing engine that changed the way our industry markets products to our industry and now runs marketing globally for Johnson Controls. His content based marketing tactics are innovative, exciting, and proven successful.
Country Manager, Axis Communications
Keith D’Sa is the country manager for Axis Communications in Canada. He is responsible for all business operations in the region, including new business development, marketing, professional services and sales team leadership. Mr. D’Sa also manages Axis’ relationships with local key distribution and channel partners. D’Sa joined Axis in 2012 and is an active member of the industry. He has more than 15 years experience, providing insight and strategy tactics around business development, solution selling and account management in the security industry. Prior to this role, Mr. D’Sa was the National Sales Manager, Canada.
Executive Director, Canadian Security Association (CANASA)
Patrick is proud to be the Executive Director of the Canadian Security Association. After 33 years working in Security Integration as a senior Sales Manager Patrick took over the role at the association almost 4 years ago. Patrick has extensive experience in the Intrusion business including monitoring as well as all other technologies sold in the Canadian market. Patrick is currently an associate member of SIA in the United States as well as the TMA the monitoring Association. Patrick communicates on a Daily basis with the Canadian Security industry from coast to coast.

Paul Swan has been a veteran of the security industry for more than 30 years. Has held various senior positions in the distribution space for the past 20+ years, currently as Vice President Sales & Marketing, Security Solutions for Anixter Canada. Prior to distribution Paul was active in the Integrator space working for regional and national companies in various roles. Paul’s broad experience on both sides of the security business has helped him deliver a unique perspective.
Global Business Development, Hazmasters and Conney Safety
Sylvia Kolitsopoulos, Global Business Development for Hazmasters and Conney safety, subsidiaries of WESCO Anixter has over 10 years’ experience in the safety industry. She has worked for national safety organizations including safety software tech companies. She is also a renowned public speaker and professional host.
General Manager Canada & Latin America, Allegion
Nate Spitz has been with Allegion for 15 years in various roles of increased capacity starting with Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies before the company spun off to form Allegion PLC when it became a standalone company traded on the S&P 500 in December 2013. Nate began his career as an Integrator sales rep in Chicago, Illinois and then managed Allegion’s regional sales office in Minneapolis MN responsible for sales in Western Wisconsin, Minnesota, North and South Dakota. Nate then went on to manage the Field Marketing division at Allegion’s corporate headquarters in Carmel, Indiana before being promoted to the General Manager of Allegion’s strategic business unit with full P&L responsibility for Allegion Canada and Latin America. Nate holds a business degree from Purdue University and a Master’s in Business Administration from The University of Notre Dame du lac. Nate resides in Oakville, Ontario with his wife Kristen.
